Yoshitha injured during game

The President's son Yoshitha Rajapaksa needed stitches as he sustained a wound in his mouth during the second leg of the Carlton Rugby Sevens Tournament 2014.

 It is reported that the wound has been stitched inside the ambulance which was provided to treat the injured players. Dr. Lal Ekanayake of Sri Lanka Sports Medicine Unit has thus treated Yoshitha.

Yoshitha Rajapaksa leads Western Warriors in the tournament.

The First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa was also among the audience of the tournament which was held in Beliatta. The second leg of the Carlton Rugby Sevens Tournament which only sees the participation of local players is to end today (July 06). The tournament is organized by Tharunyata Hetak organization of President's son, Namal Rajapaksa.
