Rupavahini Chairman resigned

Rupavahini Chairman Mohan Samaranayake has resigned from his post with effect from yesterday(01).

Samaranayake will continue to function as presidential media spokesperson.

Mohan Samaranayake was appointed as the Chairman of the Rupavahini on June, 2011.

Former police officer and the Southern Provincial Council member Prathapasingha will assume duty as new chairman of the Rupavahini , sources said.He who was a member of the Southern provincial council resigned from his post recently.
