Director of the popular teledrama 'Amanda' is facing a dilemma after the drama's lead actress, Chamalsha Dewmini, has reportedly taken a three-month break on becoming pregnant.
Since the teledrama is a mega drama, the Director - Shantha Soyza, is facing the challenge of balancing out the drama for three months in the absence of its' leading lady.
However, analysts predict that the popularity of the teledrama would go down with the absence of Chamalsha.
Chamalsha, a final round contestant at Sirasa Kumariya contest, made her acting debut through the teledrama 'Kindurangana'.
Since then, she has been in several teledramas such as 'Nil Nethu' and 'Swayanjaatha'.
She got married to Rashen Thomas last year.
